The Dachshund Rescue Alliance is a space for rescue teams to connect, share, and support one another—because we’re stronger together. We know rescue can be incredibly rewarding—and incredibly hard. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing it alone, you’re not. There are so many people out there who care about the same things you do.
That’s why we started the Dachshund Rescue Alliance: to bring together the people behind dachshund rescue efforts. Big or small, new or established, everyone here is welcome. Whether you’re looking for advice, ideas, connections, or just someone who gets it—we’re glad you’re here.

You are not alone in your work, although you may feel isolated at times. We started the Dachshund Rescue Alliance in North America, but we know there are groups of dedicated dachshund supporters across the world. We can work together and support each other’s efforts.
We invite you to join us—completely free, with no fees, no ads, and no gimmicks. We’re a group of like-minded people with love in our hearts and a shared commitment to doing the hard work: providing veterinary care, rehabilitation, and second chances to homeless dachshunds. Let’s move forward together—supporting one another, coordinating efforts, and sharing knowledge to help even more dogs in need.
